Breaking up is hard to do!


One of my clients just went on-line with their new POS system last week. They were replacing a legacy system which was lacking many features and was truly restricting their ability to effective manage their business. The key store management staff was involved in selecting the new system. Everyone recognized the need to change and was on board with the system that was selected. When I visited the store this week the adage “change is good” was nowhere to be heard. There was lot of grossing and complaining which I tend to ignore because it will pass once they get over the anxiety phase of the new system. We all express our acceptance to change until we’re the ones that have to change.
