Indentity Crisis – follow-up
This is going to be a very brief post. In fact I wasn’t going to post to my blog today until I saw this article from Forbes Magazine. The title of the article is ” Three Attributes of Enormously Companies”. The article looked at a number of retailers including Wal-Mart, Kohl’s, Nordstrom and Ralph Lauren and applied these three questions to each to determine how customers viewed them. The responses to these questions frame how loyal these consumers are to these brands.
The three questions:
- Are they trustworthy?
- Are they consistent?
- Are they loyal to their customers?
Great questions to use to take an introspective look at your own store. I’ll repeat a phrase from my last post, If you’re not branding yourself your customers will do it for you.
